Meghan King Edmonds Says This Cake Is "Worth Driving 30 Miles For"
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum celebrated Christian Schauf's 40th birthday with a special dessert.
Meghan King Edmonds was willing to go the distance to make her boyfriend Christian Schauf's 40th birthday extra sweet.
In an Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared a snap of her love cutting into his round white birthday cake decorated with colorful balloons and what appeared to be "Happy Birthday" written across the top. Meghan captioned the sweet photo: "Anyone who's ever had [Dairy Queen] ice cream cake knows it's worth driving 30 miles for."
For Christian's celebration, which Meghan later described as an "epic night," she sported her "most amazing hair ever," soft waves topped with a halo braid. In a photo shared to Meghan's Instagram Story, Meghan showed off her special hairdo as the couple posed on a balcony against incredible background views.
Meghan also gushed over Christian in a sweet Instagram post.“Here’s to living your best life every second…because life is not a dress rehearsal,” Meghan captioned the series of photos. “Happy 40th birthday [Christian]. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
As she displayed by going to great lengths to get Christian's cake, Meghan celebrates special occasions with sweet treats. Last year, the mom of Aspen, Hart, and Hayes showed off an adorable Frozen-themed cake for Aspen's third birthday that the little one took the lead on decorating. "She found the 'little guys' I bought for her cake and decorated it without any direction," Meghan wrote at the time. "3 going on 30." For Hart and Hayes' first birthday, meanwhile, the babies were presented with detailed doughnut-shaped smash cakes.
