Heather & Terry Dubrow's $55M Home Sale Included a Major Career Moment for Josh Altman (VIDEO)
The MDLLA agent shared new details about working with the RHOC couple on "the third highest sale in the history of Orange County."
Last year, Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow sold their home for a jaw-dropping $55 million. While we've since learned more about why The Real Housewives of Orange County couple decided to say goodbye to the incredible house, the video above gives new details about the sale, courtesy of Josh Altman and Heather Altman.
In the clip, a preview of Season 17 Episode 12 of RHOC, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple visited Heather and Terry to discuss the pending sale.
Josh Altman reveals new Details about Heather & Terry Dubrow's $55 million home sale
While sitting at a table in front of the home's iconic champagne wall, Josh declared, "You guys should be proud, you should be stoked," and added, "Just so you know, this is the third-highest sale in the history of Orange County."
In case that wasn't impressive enough, Josh went on to reveal that selling the home was a unique moment in his storied career. "I see the best houses in the world," he stated. "I haven't seen a house like this throughout my career."
The deal wasn't totally done at the moment, but Josh explained that once it was official, Heather and Terry would "have to be out in three weeks." Although the RHOC couple recently bought a Los Angeles penthouse, the gorgeous apartment wasn't exactly what Heather had in mind for her next family home.
"Our L.A. apartment is a two-bedroom apartment," Heather explained in an interview. "That was supposed to be for me and Terry for someday. Not for now, and not with all of those children." Later, she joked, "Maybe we just stay in the house. I mean, it's big. Will they even notice we're there?"
Hearing her concerns, Josh explained, "Heather [Altman] is going to help Heather [Dubrow] find a perfect lease."
With that, Josh and Heather left ready to close the deal, but it happened much sooner than expected. As they were walking out the door, the powerhouse agents quickly turned around, and Josh exclaimed, "They just f-cking signed."
Of course, the four friends were quick to celebrate the sale. "The fact that I had the perfect bottle of Dom [Pérignon] chilling, best moment ever!" Heather said in an interview, clarifying, "It's the 2012. You know, I didn't like the [2010]."
Josh Altman opens up about selling Heather and Terry Dubrow’s home
More than a year after selling his friend’s home, Josh shared new details about his experience. During a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, the real estate agent revealed how excited he was about the career-defining sell.
"That deal was insane. I like to give myself a ton of credit for that deal,” Josh told the publication. “I tell her all the time — and we're super tight. I love her, I love Terry. I told Terry, I was like, 'We caught lightning. Dude, we caught lightning.' So it was a great deal and we're really excited about it."
Where do Heather and Terry Dubrow live now?
Despite Heather and Terry selling their home in Orange Country, they’re still residing in the city. The RHOC ‘Wife clarified her family’s living situation during an April 2023 interview with The Wrap.
“We are actually still living in Orange County. Our kids go to school there. We’re still in Orange County,” she told the new outlet.
On the Season 17 finale of RHOC, Heather revealed that she and Terry moved into a rental home in Orange County, a property that the Altmans helped locate. "Thank goodness Josh and Heather Altman found us this rental," she said during the episode. "We took a six-month lease because it's the middle of the school year, and Terry's practice is in Orange County, so we're pretty dug in here in OC."
Josh and Heather Altman are building a new house
Although Josh told the Dubrows before the deal was signed, "This is our dream house," he and Heather (Altman) are currently building their own incredible new home in Orange County.
“I’m super excited we are closing escrow in a couple [of] weeks on a new purchase in Newport, on the water,” Heather shared with BravoTV.com in March. “I’ll be remodeling that over the next year and making that, eventually, one day, our full-time residence.”
“It’s beyond our dream house,” she continued. “We got more than we could have ever wished for.”
