Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been spending plenty of time on the East Coast lately, and in a recent Instagram Story "ask me anything" session, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum explained her current living situation.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"I am now a part-time New York resident," she said. "So I do half my time in Orange County, half my time in New York."

"The kids miss me when I'm gone, of course they do," she added in a separate clip, referencing her seven children with Sean Burke. "But they understand that mommy's doing some really cool stuff out there and that mommy's working. So just like when Sean used to travel a lot for work, you know, I held down the fort... When I'm here, I'm here 100 percent."

In July, Braunwyn and Sean shared that they planned to take "some time apart" and were figuring out their new living arrangement. In her recent Instagram Stories, Braunwyn explained that currently, "the kids have the same house, [and Sean and I] go back and forth. We are still sharing a home, and we plan on it."

"We're actually looking at a new house with a guest house," she added. "When I'm in New York, he's the primary parent, and when I'm home, I'm the primary parent."

Braunwyn and Sean previously discussed living with their kids in Hawaii, and that idea is still on the table for the future. "That is actually still something that we want to happen," Braunwyn said. "Our kids' school does not allow them to travel right now because of [COVID-19], so going back and forth with the kids is not an option, but just like I love New York and Hawaii, Sean actually would prefer to live there." Sean, who appeared in the Instagram Story videos with Braunwyn, agreed: "I love Hawaii."
