Amid Divorce Rumors, Lilly Ghalichi Is Filling up Her Empty Home: See Inside
The Shahs of Sunset entrepreneur is on the hunt for all new furnishings, too.
Just a few weeks after Lilly Ghalichi’s husband, Dara Mir, filed for divorce, it appears that the Shahs of Sunset mom is moving on. Lilly recently spent a day furniture shopping for a new — and very empty, very large — home, looking for everything from tables and chairs to couches and rugs.
After posting photos of her spree to her Instagram Stories, Lilly then gave her fans a tour of her new home… and asked for some design advice, too. “OK, so this is the area where we’re looking for that round table to go — I didn’t like that one from today, it was too gold and Persian and gaudy, so if you know a store that carries those beautiful round tables for entrances please DM it to me, because all day looking for it today and I didn’t find anything I liked!”
Among the décor items that did catch Lilly’s eye were an antique chair for her vanity station, some Persian tabletop accessories, and a stunning rug… that was a wee bit expensive for the eyelash extension guru. “Pero why you so expensive rug,” she wrote after posting an image of the stunning gray, lavender, and cream carpet.
Lilly also showed off the new house’s family room that is located right off the kitchen, for which she bought a curved couch and two chairs for “chillaxing,” as well as the more formal dining-slash-living room. Also, on the main floor? Baby Alara’s soon-to-be playroom!
“This room is becoming my baby’s playroom, we already started to set it up today. I need to go buy a changing table for her tomorrow, and just really work on decorating this room tomorrow,” Lilly said, while also showing off the room’s built-in shelves, where she had myriad framed photos of herself, her estranged husband, and her baby.
Upstairs, Lilly showed off the part of the house that she’s most excited about: her glam room! “I haven’t had a glam room in three years — or glam area even! — so, I’m most excited for this room,” she admitted.
She then revealed the fireplace and TV in the master, which was also empty and also in need of furnishings. “The only other room I really need some furniture for is my bedroom,” she explained. “So, I bought a really cute little table with two chairs — there’s a TV, but I don’t watch TV! It’s more just to sit around the fireplace.”
Want more sneak peeks? Don’t worry, Lilly is promising a tour of the furnished home as early as next week!
