Sonja Morgan Is "Stuck" at a Spa Amid the COVID-19 Crisis
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member shared her unusual self-quarantine story on WWHL.
When Sonja Morgan appeared on What What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: @Home on April 9, she provided an update on her rather unique self-quarantine situation. You see, while most people are hunkered down at home, Sonja is juicing at a Palm Springs spa.
Catching up with his guest, Andy asked: "So, Sonja, you had booked your time at a spa, and then the quarantine happened. And now you quite literally are stuck there. Are you the only guest at the spa?"
Sonja, who was wearing a Sonja Morgan kaftan, gamely shared an update. "Yeah, I got kicked out of the original one, because they had to close down; they were much larger," The Real Housewives of New York City cast member shared. "And then I packed my bags, I went down the road, and I found this quaint little place that's still doing juicing for me — you know, [they deliver it it]."
She added: "I am the only one except for one other person, from New York of course. All the flights are canceled by the way." And though she misses her daughter, who's quarantined in Baltimore, Sonja added gratefully: "I'm safe." Andy added, "And you're juicing. You've never looked better."
When she initially landed at the spa back in March, Sonja shared an Instagram post about her plans. "Keeping my self sequestered away in the #desert,” she wrote. “Safe distancing. The view is magnificent. Blue skies, sunshine and white clouds. All while I work on my health @wecarespaca #juicing NO #sugar #caffiene #dairy #colonics. Lots of sleep and avoiding stress best I can while managing my business."
