Who says Christmas decorations can only be red and green? Dorinda Medley just proved that, when it comes to holiday cheer, the more color, the better.
In the past, The Real Housewives of New York City alum has decked the halls of her Berkshires estate, dubbed Blue Stone Manor, with more traditional trimmings — but this year, she took a very different approach to her home's holiday vibe, which you can see in the Bravo Insider video above.
Dorinda decided to go for a Candyland theme, and she displayed confection-covered firs, intricately designed ginger bread houses, and an army of nutcrackers guarding a gum ball jar to bring her vision to life. Perhaps the most dazzling element of her festive decor was a towering evergreen covered top to bottom in vibrant florals. The tree, which you can view by pressing play on the video above, was layered with cheerful blooms such as roses, sunflowers, and daffodils. Florals in every color of the rainbow were intricately arranged for an ombré effect.
Although the tree looked like a fantastical creation, it was actually fairly simple to achieve. Watch the video above to see the glorious statement tree and hear Dorinda explain exactly how it was put together.
