In an emotional TV moment, Wendy Williams recently came clean about her struggles with drug addiction. The talk-show host — who's also been plagued with health issues and rumors about her marriage in the past year — admitted that she's used cocaine in the past and she's currently living in a sober house.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 15 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City on October 1st at 9/8c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

On the March 19 episode of The Wendy Williams Show, the television personality tearfully admitted: "I have been living in a sober house. You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past. I never went to a place to get treatment… there are people in your family, it might be you… I want you to know more of the story."

She added, "Only [my husband] Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here. I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.”

Upon hearing the news, Luann de Lesseps offered Williams some words of support. The Real Housewives of New York City cabaret star, who's been to rehab for alcohol addiction, tweeted, "Rooting for you! Sending love and support!@WendyWilliams."
