Jill Zarin Moves Out of the Apartment She Shared with Late Husband Bobby for 19 Years
The Real Housewives of New York City mom shared that "the time has come 18 months after Bobby passed to begin a new chapter."
Jill Zarin listed the New York City apartment she shared with her late husband, Bobby Zarin, for almost $3.3 million in October, and now she is officially moving out.
"After 19 of the most amazing years together in our home... the time has come 18 months after Bobby passed to begin a new chapter. It was important to stay here at least a year before any major changes," The Real Housewives of New York City alum wrote in a (literally and figuratively) moving Instagram post.
Jill is "downsizing and completely changing my surroundings," she wrote on Instagram. The recently-renovated apartment that she shared with Bobby and her daughter Ally Shapiro is 2,000 square feet and features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with state-of-the-art amenities like solar-powered shades and a custom kitchen that would make any home chef weep with joy.
Jill is also listening to what Bobby wanted for her to do after he passed.
"I am sad and cried this weekend but as Bobby told me many times.. life is like a book and when 1 chapter ends a new one begins. As painful as it’s been to lose someone I loved so deeply and completely.. Bobby told me before he left me that it’s ok to fall in love again and he wants me to happy more than anyone. There will only be 1 Bobby Zarin. I promise never to forget you and I know you are my guardian angel."
Jill's not the only family member on the move in Manhattan — her daughter Ally just got her first apartment in New York City after graduating from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.
