See Every Gorgeous Detail of Teresa Giudice’s Surprise Bridal Shower
The RHONJ cast member’s celebration ahead of her wedding was complete with jaw-dropping decor, an amazing food spread, and a towering cake.
In July 2022, Teresa Giudice had a bridal shower ahead of her and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ wedding. While The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member and her guests shared peeks at their fabulous fashion and sweet moments from the celebratory day, we finally got a full look inside the event on Season 13 Episode 13 of RHONJ.
Jennifer Aydin and Teresa’s daughters, Gia Giudice, Gabriella Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice, teamed up to throw Teresa the surprise shower, which, of course, had some perfectly over-the-top details. “I take my bridesmaid’s duties very seriously,” Jennifer said in an interview.
When the details of the day finally came together, Jennifer and Teresa’s daughters were thrilled. “Oh my god, this looks so beautiful,” Jennifer said as she walked into Brando’s Citi Cucina in Asbury Park, New Jersey. When Gia arrived, she excitedly declared, “It’s so cute in here!”
Teresa, who looked gorgeous in a strapless white minidress, was blown away by the sweet surprise. “It’s so special to have this room full of women celebrating me. I had no idea. They didn’t have to do this!” she said in an interview, later adding as she walked into the dining room, “This is so pretty!”
“Pretty” may be an understatement. The room was filled with stunning pink-and-white floral arrangements and dozens of elegant candles to create a dreamy vibe. Among the many eye-catching details were pink and white balloons, a custom ice sculpture, an acrylic sign welcoming guests to the event, and escort cards with gold details showing each person where to sit.
There was also a delicious spread, including fish and steak. “This food looks excellent,” Jennifer said as she sat down, and Jennifer Fessler clearly agreed, asking Melissa Gorga, “Can you pass me the calamari, my love? And the clams, and the meatballs, and the mozzarella?”
Of course, no Housewives event is complete without some jaw-dropping desserts. A table of sweet treats at the party included custom cookies shaped like bridal gowns, engagement rings, and the word “love.” In addition to several other pastries, there was a towering gold-and-white cake with a sparkly diamond-like piece placed on top.
While Jennifer Aydin sipped on whiskey and some of the other ladies enjoyed wine and cocktails, many guests opted for the event’s signature drink, a vibrant pink “Tre-tini.”
In an episode interview, Jennifer Aydin said she “offered to bring a little Turkish culture” to the day, and she did so by incorporating henna into the celebration. “A lot of people use it for tattoos, but in our culture, they do it right before the girl gets married,” Jennifer explained to her daughter Olivia before the bash.
Jennifer explained in a separate interview that the henna is “supposed to give abundance and love and prosperity.” During the party, she instructed, “We are dancing around the bride. This is good luck. Everyone who dances around it will absorb the good energy, OK?”
Danielle Cabral was excited about that portion of the shower. “You know I love activities,” she said. “Over-the-top and big — my thing.”
