Jennifer Aydin Shows Off Her Gorgeous "Candy Cane Trees" & Holiday Decor (PICS)
The RHONJ cast member shared a peek at the sweet Christmas decor in her New Jersey manse.
All around New Jersey, Real Housewives are decking their halls. After Teresa Giudice shared a peek at her festive, gold-and-white decor for the 2023 holiday season, her Real Housewives of New Jersey castmate Jennifer Aydin offered a glimpse of her own "candy cane trees." The trees provided the sweetest start to this year's decor.
In a November 16 Instagram Story, Jennifer revealed that she was hard at work in her stunning foyer — which has always had statement-making holiday decor. This year, Jennifer began her decorating with two sugar-inspired fixtures. Flanking her front door are "candy cane trees," which Jennifer decked with red and white ornaments, huge red bows, and even swirly replicas of the minty sweets.
The skirt of each tree stayed right on theme with a swirled red-and-white pattern. And the candy-inspired trees are just the start. Jennifer's Instagram Story went on to show the rest of her foyer's lovely decor.
Jennifer Aydin's 2023 Christmas Decor
The Aydin family's grand, sweeping staircase has already been wrapped up with garlands and embedded with twinkling lights. There's a giant, red-and-gold wreath hanging from the center of the staircase, and three crimson ornaments hanging down from it. The home also features a decorative table set with red and white flowers and a Santa Claus figurine.
In her Instagram videos, Jennifer shared a bit about her tree-decorating process. "We always start with the garland first," she said. "I put the garland up, make sure I like where it is, and then I fill in." After the garland had been hung, Jennifer started to "fill in the blanks" with her ornaments, and the final touch was the candy cane skirt. Check out Jennifer's finished progress in the photos below.
Jennifer's love of candy-cane-colored decor isn't new. In fact, last year, the Aydin family's holiday decor featured red-and-white pillows, flowers, and other seasonal pieces.
There were stockings hanging next to the fireplace, large nutcracker statues, and garlands lining the grand staircase. Multiple Christmas trees were again topped with red bows, and one especially tall tree was filled with red and white ornaments, giant candy canes, and more. Although Jennifer noted that Christmas Designers of New Jersey did the majority of the setup, she explained, “I do my tree.”
Jennifer also decked out the exterior of her home last year. For the festive outdoor look, she added more trees to her yard and made the house glow with white string lights.
