Dorit & PK Kemsley Plan to Rent Their Former Beverly Hills Mansion for $30K/Month
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple re-listed the property for rent just last week.
While Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul "PK" Kemsley are utterly content in their new, $6.475 milion Encino home — "When I walked into this [new] house, I just knew this is perfect for our family,” she said in a recent episode — their former home remains empty back in Beverly Hills.
Backstory: Dorit and PK have been trying to sell the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home for years. Originally listing the 8,679-square-foot manse for $12.75 million back in 2017,The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple lowered the price a whopping eight times over the course of two and a half years, but still never found a buyer for the stunning home. The last asking price? $7.499 million. (The Kemsleys paid $6.565 million for the house in 2016.)
“The price was lowered to get it sold, we are very keen to move,” PK told Page Six two years ago. “We want a less vertical house with more of a back yard. The kids are running around everywhere and we have a lot of stairs, so we want to swap stairs for grass!”
In order to generate some income from the ultra-steep manse that is built into a hill perched above a private driveway, Dorit and PK re-listed the house as a rental, asking for $30,000 a month. While that might sound like a lot — and trust us, it is! — the price is significantly lower than the $40,000 a month rate the couple was asking for back in 2018.
