Dorit Kemsley Explains Why Her Alarms Were Off on the Night of the Home Invasion
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared new details about the home invasion she went through last year.
On the May 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dorit Kemsley shared new details about the terrifying home invasion and robbery she went through last year.
“A lot of questions coming in from viewers about the surveillance video [shown on the Season 12 premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills], that it’s so scary, but any idea why your security system wasn’t working?” Andy asked.
“You know, I have small children, right?” Dorit responded. “They get up in the middle of the night and usually come to my room. If I put the alarm on, and the reason why I don’t, or hadn’t before, is because they could drift downstairs and then the alarm would go off.”
Fellow WWHL guest Kyle Richards clarified, “The sensors inside [the home], you mean,” and Dorit said, “Exactly.”
“So the alarm was not on,” Andy concluded, which Dorit confirmed.
Dorit will continue to detail her experience on the May 18 episode of RHOBH. Watch a preview of the episode, which includes an emotional conversation between Dorit and her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, in the Bravo Insider video below.
