Kyle Richards Sheds New Light on "Rumors" About Dorit & Mauricio: "Can't Keep Up"
RHOBH's Kyle Richards revealed her theory about how the speculation on Mauricio Umansky and Dorit Kemsley got started.
Kyle Richards just revealed what really started those rumors about her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and her former bestie, Dorit Kemsley.
"I really can’t keep up with the rumors," Kyle told E! News on November 11 when asked about the moment from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 trailer when it's revealed that she texts Paul "PK" Kemsley. "There [were] also rumors about Dorit and Mauricio, which was so stupid, and it came from just how they hugged when she was burglarized. I'm like, 'Oh my gosh!'"
Kyle also addressed the speculation when she chatted with Extra on the same day.
"The funny thing is there had been rumors about Dorit and Mauricio, which were stupid and ridiculous, but no..." she said when responding to the claim that she might be attracted to PK. "I was just at my wits end. I was like 'I cannot.' That's where I draw the line — are you implying that I'm doing something not appropriate with PK?"
Why is Kyle Richards texting PK on RHOBH Season 14?
While fans will have to tune in to RHOBH Season 14 to find out what exactly the ladies discuss regarding Kyle's texts to PK, Kyle recently explained what kind of messages she usually sends to the Englishman.
"Of course, from being friends for 10 years I have text messages with PK, but they were referring to DMs of memes, which we’ve always done," she said on E! News. "We send each other back and forth, memes always."
"And even if Dorit and I have had issues before, PK always stays out of it," Kyle continued. "She would even say, 'Kyle and I were not even speaking and she and PK will send their memes and I see them laughing, like, there they are, like brother and sister.'"
According to Kyle, her interactions with PK were never an issue when she was still close with Dorit. Now that Dorit and Kyle's friendship has taken a turn, the texts have become a problem.
"[But] obviously, things changed," Kyle added. "So that became an issue now."
Where do Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley currently stsand?
Season 14 of RHOBH is a rocky one for Kyle and Dorit's friendship, but Kyle recently revealed that the two are in a much better place now (well, sort of).
"We're way better than that trailer, I will say that," Kyle teased during an Amazon Live stream on November 1. "We'll leave it at that for now."
A few days later, though, Kyle began to sing a bit of a different tune.
"We came into this not in a good place and it just got worse...," she told Extra on November 11. "Even though we worked through a lot of it, when I see the [trailer] an the things she said, [then] we're back to square one."
