This Pic of Cynthia Bailey's Grandma Proves Good Genes Run in Their Family
The Real Housewives of Atlanta supermodel shared a vintage photo of her grandmother, who was "so beautiful and classy."
Clearly, the genes in Cynthia Bailey's family are incredibly strong. Not only does The Real Housewives of Atlanta supermodel routinely stun with her gorgeous sister Malorie, but she also has a beautiful mini-me in daughter Noelle Robinson. (We had to do a double take when Cynthia shared a throwback pic of herself at age 20 because we thought it was Noelle.) And now, Cynthia is proving just how far back those supermodel-worthy good looks go with a vintage picture of her late grandmother.
"Today is my grandma Frankie Mae Ford’s birthday. She died at the age of 98. Wow, she would have been 106 years old today. My mom just texted me this photo. This is one of very few. I love it. So beautiful and classy," Cynthia posted on her Instagram along a black and white photo of her late grandmother. In the shot, her grandma is seated with her long legs crossed while holding a young baby and sitting next to a young child with the American flag seen in the background.
"We were very close, and I am a lot like her," she continued. "Didn’t realize how much my daughter @noellerobinson resembles her. She was my first example of a black female entrepreneur." Cynthia goes on to explain how amazing her grandmother was as a role model, boss, and mother — sounds a lot like someone else we know.
