Porsha Williams Welcomes Her First Child
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams and fiancé Dennis McKinley welcomed a baby girl on March 22.
Yaaaas! Porsha Williams is officially a mom. The Real Housewives of Atlanta radio host welcomed her daughter into the world on Friday, March 22, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE. This is the first child for Porsha and her fiancé, Dennis McKinley.
Porsha and Dennis' daughter was born at 1:36 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long. “What a time to be alive! Porsha and I are so happy and blessed to announce the arrival of our daughter, Baby PJ,” the couple said in a statement to PEOPLE. “We couldn’t have imagined a more magical moment! Can’t thank everyone enough for joining us on this journey-it’s been a fantastic journey."
Porsha confirmed her happy baby news back in September. “Just having a little mini me, like a little being that I will love forever and I know who will be attached to me and love me forever, i think that is just the sweetest thing to be able to experience unconditional love,” she told The Daily Dish at the time.
And shortly after that, she confirmed that she and Dennis were engaged. Later, she revealed that the duo was expecting a baby girl at an outdoor gender reveal bash in October.
And you can bet that even before she gave birth, Dennis was already certain of her skills as they move forward to building their family together. "This lady right here is gonna be the best momma [and] wife... We are the same but she has wayyyy more patience, has wayyyy more empathy [and] is wayyyy more deserving of a happy ending than me," he gushed.
It wasn’t always smooth sailing. At one point, she was briefly hospitalized before bouncing back — and being gifted a new pup by Dennis following the passing of her pet, Neko.

Yes, she even offered up a nickname for the tot: PJ. "One of the names that we got rid of that he liked was Napoleon. [I was like], ‘I don’t know about that one for a boy!’ One of the names that he has absolutely settled on — I’m not settled on it yet — is PJ. PJ stands for Porsha Jr. He wants to name our daughter Porsha Jr,” she told PEOPLE at the time.
