Meghan Markle, apparently, is known as the "avocado toast whisperer."
In title, the Duchess of Sussex is as English as it gets. But, Meghan Markle will always stay true to her California roots. And if you need proof of that, just check out the snack she whipped up for a lunch and gab session with an old friend.
According to Instagram, Markle recently got a visit from her pal, the makeup artist Daniel Martin. (Fun fact: It was Martin who created the duchess' blushing beauty look for her wedding back in May.) Luckily for us palace voyeurs, Martin posted a snap from the visit, so we got to peek at the eats that he and the duchess shared.
The photo showed off a spread that checked all the cravings boxes, from savory and crunchy to sweet — and fancy! To caption the image of avocado toast on silver platters, chocolate truffles in a pretty blue dish, and a pot of tea, the makeup pro wrote his impromptu review:
"Back to our Tig days...," he wrote, referencing Markle's former, recipe-filled blog. "Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!"
