See the Adorable Way Andy Cohen’s Son, Ben, Is Already Following in His Footsteps
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen might have a precocious new staffer.
So, Andy Cohen may not be the only TV pro in his family. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recently shared a video of his 4-year-old son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, in the control room at his late-night talk show, and it looks like a production star was born.
“[WWHL] Technical Director Reneé Butler is going to have Ben directing the show pretty soon!” the proud dad quipped in his caption. Indeed, it might not be long before Ben earns an official spot on the crew.
In Andy’s video, Ben was already displaying some fascinating instincts with his directorial decisions. After looking at his dad’s image on the monitor, the little one hit a button that split the view of Andy into four parts.
Reneé was impressed. “You got four of them! You got four dads! Look!” Reneé said animatedly, pointing to the screen. Ben giggled gleefully at the array of multiple Andys.
The kiddo looked perfectly at ease in his new position. In his long-sleeved red T-shirt, Ben fit right in with the crew. It also seems like he brought plenty of good vibes to the control room. After all, who wouldn’t get a kick from having a coworker who’s this adorable?
Meanwhile, Ben’s little sis, Lucy, is also helping her dad out at work. During the last day of the epic three-day BravoCon 2022 weekend in October, Lucy joined Andy onstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
She even made it onto the big screen — not bad for someone who wasn’t even 6 months old yet. The WWHL host shared the special moment on social media.
“Bring your Daughter to BravoCon Day!” Andy posted on Instagram, along with two photos of him holding his youngest child on the main stage at BravoCon.
After the arrival of his daughter on April 29, Andy introduced WWHL viewers to his second child with the most heartwarming video. He also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of “love and support” he has received for his whole family, including Ben (aka the quickly rising director).
“As I held Lucy in the hospital, just she and I, late into her first night, I was so moved by all of your love and support,” Andy said, sharing a sweet photo of himself holding baby Lucy in the hospital. “I see all your messages, I want you to know that your virtual cheerleading of my starting a family on my own has lifted me up when I most needed it.”
