Go Inside Andy Cohen's Halloween Night with Ben and Lucy (PHOTOS)
The WWHL host also got in on the costume fun.
Andy Cohen’s Halloween celebration was equal parts wholesome and adorable.
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host capped off the spooky season in New York City, where he and his kids — 5-year-old son, Ben, and 2-year-old daughter, Lucy — did some good old-fashioned trick-or-treating. Andy shared a peek at the family night in an October 31 Instagram post, which showed him and his kids walking hand-in-hand while dressed in costume.

Although Andy is partial to matching costumes, (remember his and Ben’s 2021 astronaut get-ups?), 2024 found the Cohen family taking a more individualistic approach.
Andy donned a St. Louis Cardinals uniform with his surname emblazoned on the back, as well as a red baseball cap and white sneakers. Little Ben stepped out wearing a firetruck costume and a Dalmatian hat with a tiny firefighter helmet, while Lucy opted for a fairy unicorn costume complete with sheer white wings and a pink-and-purple tutu.
The post garnered over 100,000 “likes” and hundreds of comments, many of which came from Bravolebrities, like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks, The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Storms Beador, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Margaret Josephs, who wrote: “Happy Halloween cutie Cohen’s.”
James Wilkie Broderick — son of Andy’s good friends Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick — also hopped in the comments section with a little costume advice.
“Tuck ya jersey!” James wrote, to which Andy replied, “You’re so right. looks like a dipe!”
“No you look great!” James insisted. “Will just look more ready to take the field.”
Andy shares his thoughts on trick-or-treating in the West Village
Andy’s Halloween post also featured a snap of Ben and Lucy receiving candy outside Julius in Andy’s West Village neighborhood.
The WWHL host spoke about NYC trick-or-treating during a 2021 appearance on Live with Ryan and Kelly: “The West Village is like a Nancy Meyers movie — if you get the reference — on Halloween,” he said. “It was really fun."
Andy reflects on being a father of two
Ben and Lucy were born via surrogacy in 2019 and 2022, respectively. Although Andy used different surrogates for each child, he has confirmed the brother and sister are “biological siblings.”
Andy opened up about his parenting journey in a 2023 interview with his longtime pal Anderson Cooper, explaining the ways fatherhood has “changed” him.
“I mean, I think my priorities have completely shifted,” he said during the CBS News sitdown. “I think my sense of accomplishment has totally changed. And even just getting your kids breakfast and getting them out to school, when I drop him off at school, I’m like, ‘You did it, dude! That was a rough two-and-a-half hours, you know?’”
