This Is Why Amanda Batula Left the Winter House Early
You may be surprised why the Winter House cast member decided to leave Colorado before her castmates.
When Season 3 of Winter House kicked off, we were surprised to learn that Amanda Batula was missing in action.
During the premiere episode, we eventually figured out why the Summer House cast member couldn’t make it out west for the beginning of the two-week vacation: She was at a friend's bachelorette party and then got sick.
Though Amanda eventually made her way to the vacation home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, she also decided to check out early.

Why did Amanda Batula leave Winter House early?
On Season 3, Episode 9 of Winter House, which aired on December 19, Amanda explained why she was cutting her trip time short. "I've grown to love everyone here so much but ... I just wanna be home with my dogs. I miss them!" Amanda stated in an interview.
Though she was sad to take off early, Amanda was sure to hug everyone before her departure.

As Bravoholics may recall, Amanda and her husband Kyle Cooke adopted their adorable dogs after a period of fostering in 2022.
"It’s official — we adopted our rescue dogs. Everyone meet Reese [and] Ryder!" Kyle captioned a February 2022 Instagram post. "Amanda slept with them for a week because they would cry alone — sometimes in the pen, sometimes on the floor by their side. I always knew she would be an amazing mom but I underestimated how much joy these little girls would bring her as a dog mom, and how much love she would give them in return."

Though Winter House Season 3 is coming to a close, we're more than ready for the snowstorm of drama headed our way from the reunion.
