Whitney Rose Talked to Sharrieff About His Birthday Drama and Here’s What Happened
The RHOSLC cast member opened up about the "interesting" chat she had with Jen Shah's husband following his surprise birthday party.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 1 was full of plenty of explosive moments, from Mary Cosby’s emotional Met Gala themed luncheon to a a girls’ spa trip that turned into a heated exchange. But on the February 6 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, Whitney Rose revealed there’s one moment her cast mates still won’t let her live down.
When asked to describe the moment that made her question “What have I gotten myself into?” Whitney pointed to the hip-hop themed surprise birthday party Jen Shah threw for her husband, Sharrieff.
“It’s so fun to watch it back and see how it really happened compared to how I remember it. Because as you can see I drank way too much wine. And I completely remember a different situation,” Whitney explained, noting that her decision to have a serious conversation with Jen at the event is one she is still apologizing for. “It’s definitely a topic at the reunion. I keep apologizing but no one wants to forgive me. So, we’ll see what happens.”
Although it sounds like the ladies may be struggling to understand where Whitney was coming from that night, there’s one person who seemed to cut her some major slack: Coach Shah, himself.
“I did get the opportunity to talk to Sharrieff about it. So that was really interesting,” Whitney explained. “He is very understanding. He is very kind. That’s another reason I felt like I could talk to Jen while Sharrieff was around, because she’s a completely different person when he’s around. She’s calmer. She’s more caring and kind. So I thought it was a great time. I’m seeing now it wasn’t.”
