Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green had a much-needed discussion about the status of their friendship on the November 9 episode of Southern Charm. However, as the midseason trailer made clear, there's still a lot left for the pair to work through this season and at the eventual reunion.
For the time being, though, where do Olivia and Taylor stand after the Austen Kroll drama? Well, we got an update at BravoCon 2023.

Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green's Discussion About the Austen Kroll Drama on Southern Charm
Taylor started off the sit-down by apologizing for kissing Austen and for lying to Olivia about it after the fact. "I feel like a very sh-tty friend for lying and doubling down and betraying your trust," Taylor said. "And I want to make sure that I can earn your trust back because that's what's important to me."
Olivia, however, expressed her belief that Taylor still wasn't being fully truthful about what happened between her and Austen. As she put it, "I prioritize our friendship over everything in this, but because I haven't gotten the full truth over and over, at the end of this, I wanna be okay with you. I just need you to be honest."
But Taylor insisted she was telling the truth, noting, "You have to know that it would be so much easier to be like, 'Yeah, we hooked up. Yeah, we want to date.' It would be so much easier."
Taylor continued to tell Olivia that she and Austen didn't hook up, but Olivia ultimately concluded, "You can tell me 'til you're blue in the face that y'all didn't — Austen can too — but the words you say, I no longer believe. We're just broken. I don't know how much of our friendship there is to salvage."

Speaking to Us Weekly at BravoCon 2023, Olivia explained that watching Southern Charm Season 9 back has made it difficult for her to want to move on with Taylor.
“It’s eye-opening and I can’t help but get frustrated when I see the conversations that are had when I’m not around,” she said, noting that she’s not currently speaking to Taylor, but it “depends on the day” with Austen.
"I mean, he gets on my every last nerves," Olivia added, "but I also enjoy his company, so it’s weird."
Taylor, meanwhile, said that her and Olivia's friendship isn't at "100 percent" and that they'll have to “revisit” the drama at the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion.
