Meet New Southern Charm-er Salley Carson, Who Has Ties to Taylor's New Boyfriend & Shep
Salley Carson is officially joining the Season 10 cast of Southern Charm.
Salley Carson is set to become a Southern Charm-er on the show's upcoming 10th season alongside fellow newbies Molly O'Connell and Ryan Albert, as well as returning faces Madison LeCroy, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Venita Aspen, Taylor Ann Green, Jarrett "JT" Thomas, Rodrigo Reyes, and Leva Bonaparte.
So, who is Salley? Well, according to a Season 10 press release, "Salley is the latest to grace Charleston’s vibrant social scene. She’s a bubbly party girl by night and a robotics technician for surgical procedures by day. The debutante is gorgeous, intelligent, and independent, and she shares a curiously parallel romantic past with Taylor."
Seriously: The similarities are almost spooky.
Salley Carson's relationship history includes Shep Rose and Gaston Rojas
"Taylor's new boyfriend is my ex," Salley says of Gaston Rojas in the Season 10 trailer (you can watch it above). "And, like, I slept with Shep."
According to the trailer, Taylor and Salley even get into an argument about the aforementioned Mr. Rose during the season.
"I dated Shep for two and a half years. Ya'll just f-cked," says Taylor. However, we'll have to wait to find out what that's all about. For now, keep scrolling to get to know Salley.

According to her official BravoTV.com bio, Salley has made quite the place for herself within Charleston's vibrant social scene.
"Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Salley grew up with strong Southern roots, taking cotillion and coming out as a debutante as a teenager," the bio reads. "Salley moved to Charleston a few years ago after landing an impressive job in spinal robotics. Her goal is to be married and have a family, but for now she is a bubbly party girl who dotes on her adorable puppy, Boots, after a long day working at the hospital."
What does Salley Carson do for a living?
Salley, a 2017 University of South Carolina Bachelors of Science graduate, works for medical device engineering company Medtronic as a Hybrid Robotic and Core Spinal Representative. According to her LinkedIn page, she started at the company in February 2019 as a clinical specialist.
Salley Carson's reality TV history
Before there was Southern Charm, there was The Bachelor ... kind of. Sally famously self-eliminated herself as a contestant before night one of Clayton Echard's January 2022 season.
Her reasoning? Filming was supposed to take place the exact same weekend she'd planned to get married before calling off an engagement. It didn't feel right, or rather, it felt "weird."
"My heart is just not in the place where I can [do this]," she told the lead at the time. "And I feel so bad about that. My heart is just not ready."
Later, she appeared on Bachelor in Paradise and Southern Hospitality, where she connected with Joe Bradley. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because he found out she'd lied about kissing Gaston Rojas (who is now dating Taylor!) just a couple of hours before their date.
Who Is Taylor Ann Green's boyfriend?
According to the trailer, Salley previously dated Taylor's current boyfriend, Gaston. You can see this relationship at work during Season 2 of Southern Hospitality.
A Carmel, New York native, Gaston works as a territory manager for BD, another global medical technology company. He's also a former collegiate athlete — he was an outfielder for Keystone College’s baseball team.
"I am seeing somebody. I am currently dating, so things are going really well," Taylor told The Daily Dish in October 2023 when their relationship first came to light. "I feel very happy and confident. It's a good feeling to have."
Southern Charm Season 10 premieres on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
