Vicki Shares Details of Her Mexican Vacation with Brooks
The OG of the OC explains why she was at Andales—and why she's "looking forward to a great year ahead."
Vicki Gunvalson has been spending the past few days at one of her favorite spots on the planet—Puerto Vallarata, Mexico—and teasing some exciting business ventures that she's cooking up for the new year.
Now, she's opening up exclusively to The Daily Dish to give us more details about her stay at her condo in the resort town. Vicki reveals that she's on the trip with her brother, Billy, and boyfriend, Brooks, and that the hardworking OC housewife is, as usual, mixing business and pleasure.
"I met with Jorge, the owner of Andales, which is one of my favorite local places to go for over 25 years. I am in communication with partnering with Jorge on a few projects that we are working on which will be very exciting for Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta and me," she says.
Later on in the week, Vicki is also planning on giving back to the community in a very personal and meaningful way. "Thursday, Jorge is taking us to the city dump, where he feeds more than 400 children who live there," she says. "My hope is that I can bring awareness and assistance to these unfortunate children, and allow them to be educated which will allow them to build a new life for themselves, despite their surroundings."
The relaxing trip will also include a chartered yacht and whale watching and is intended to give Vicki some time to reflect on the new year ahead with Brooks by her side. "In the midst of doing some business here," she says, "I am also focusing on my personal and Coto Insurance business goals for 2015, and am looking forward to a great year head of me!"
