Bravo's Top Chef and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Just Nabbed Emmy Nominations (UPDATED)
The two Bravo series, as well as Last Chance Kitchen, are up for prizes at the show, slated to air this fall.
Break out the bubbly because we here at Bravo are celebrating: Bravo's Top Chef, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and Last Chance Kitchen have all been nominated for 2018 Emmy Awards.
Bravo's Top Chef earned a nod in the Outstanding Reality-Competition along with The Voice, The Amazing Race, America Ninja Warrior, Project Runway, and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“I am so excited that Top Chef has once again been recognized by the Television Academy. Thank you to all of you who voted for us. We try to make the show better and better each year and this nomination feels so good.” Padma Lakshmi told The Daily Dish in a statement.
Graham Elliot also told The Daily Dish, "I am humbled to be part of such an amazing team, not only the judging panel, but the entire Top Chef family. This nomination goes to show that we’re on the right path and pushes us to get even better!”
Tom Collichio told The Daily Dish in a statement: “It is an honor to be a part of the continued success of Top Chef and to be nominated for another Emmy is such an accomplishment. I’m grateful to have our team recognized for all of their hard work on another great season.”
Gail Simmons took to Instagram to celebrate the nomination, writing, in part, "Cheering from the hilltops for @bravotopchef's 12th #Emmy nomination today! Making this show for almost 13 years (and 16 seasons) has been the adventure of a lifetime."
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen is up for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media Within an Unscripted Program. Conan Without Borders, RuPaul's Drag Race, and The Oscars are also nominated in that category. "We love being recognized as the only live interactive show in late night and owe this nomination to nine amazing years of viewers’ tweets, votes and calls!" Andy Cohen shared with The Daily Dish in a statement about the nomination.
Last Chance Kitchen is up for Outstanding Short Form Nonfiction or Reality Series against Anthony Bourdain: Explore Parts Unknown, Jay Leno's Garage, The Americans: The Final Season, and The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story: America’s Obsessions.
Congrats to everyone who is nominated!
