Andy Cohen Among the Bravo Stars Remembering Michael Kelcourse Following His Passing
Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy, Cameran Eubanks, and Landon Clements also remembered Michael Kelcourse following his passing.
The Bravo family is remembering Michael Kelcourse following the news of his passing this week.
Patricia Altschul's friend and former butler, who appeared on Southern Charm for multiple seasons before his retirement, passed away this week following health issues. And now everyone from Andy Cohen to the Southern Charm inner circle are paying tribute to Michael.
"I am so sorry to hear it. thanks for sharing him with us," Andy commented on Patricia's Instagram post in which she remembered Michael.
It was there that Landon Clements commented, "Oh Patricia I am so sorry to hear this news. He was such a wonderful man and a dedicated friend to you. He taught me how to make a real martini and I shall think of him every time I hammer the ice and shake one up. Sending lots of love. Cheers to you both."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Sutton Stracke shared, "Oh I’m so sorry to hear. I know this is a big hole in your heart. My condolences."
Patricia's son Whitney Sudler-Smith also remembered Michael, who was an extended member of his family, on Instagram, which was flooded with tributes.
"The Best," Cameran Eubanks wrote. She also posted a tribute to her own Instagram Stories where she wrote, in part, that Michael was "one of the finest people I've known."
"Sorry for your loss brother," Rod Razavi added, with The Real Housewives of New York City's Kelly Bensimon commenting, "I’m so sorry!!"
Madison LeCroy, Leva Bonaparte, Venita Aspen, and The Valley's Kristen Doute also showed their support by commenting simply with heart emojis.
Patricia Altschul and Whitney Sudler-Smith Remember Michael Kelcourse
Shortly after news broke of Michael's death, Patricia took to Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and shared her memories of Michael.
"In Loving Memory of Michael Kelcourse," she wrote. "It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Michael, who left us yesterday morning in Sarasota. More than just a devoted butler, he was a trusted friend, confidant, and member of our family for over 20 years."
She continued, "Michael’s time on Southern Charm endeared him to many, as his humor and kindness quickly made him a fan favorite. Over the past two weeks, he was deeply touched by the incredible number of cards and well-wishes from fans. I’ve been told there were hundreds, and they brought him immense joy during his final days."
Patricia added in her tribute to Michael: "I will be devoting this week to remembering Michael. I know he meant so much to so many of you, as he did to us. He will be greatly missed."
Whitney also paid tribute to Michael, writing on Instagram, "RIP Michael Kelcourse, aka 'Michael the Butler,' a member of the family and a true legend. You will be missed."
Southern Charm's Michael Kelcourse Passes Away
Michael's death was confirmed on a page run by CaringBridge that was created to share updates on Michael in his journey after he first suffered from a spinal cord stoke back in 2021. His passing comes as Patricia recently revealed that he had suffered from another stroke weeks before he died.
