Turtle Time, Music Videos, Camille Grammer's Moves — Watch the Best Dance Moments on Bravo
Whether they're taking twerking lessons or auditioning for Kandi Burruss, the Real Housewives have never shied away from cutting a rug.
The ladies of the new Bravo series Dancing Queens are coming to our screens to perform their best moves — but of course, we've already seen the women across the Real Housewives franchise could strut their stuff.
Throughout the years, the ‘Wives have graced us — and sometimes shocked us — when putting on their dance shoes (or lingerie). Whether getting jiggy in the club or at home trying to “pay that rent,” the Bravo ladies surely never disappoint.
With Dancing Queens airing every week on Bravo, we’re taking a look at the best rug-cutting moments in the network. Here are our favorite dances scenes from The Real Housewives, which you can see in the video, above.
Camille Grammer's Dance Moves
Who could forget this scene from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 1, Episode 3, featuring Camille Grammer. It was one of many times Camille killed the dance floor, which wasn’t hugely surprising since she got her start in the '80s by dancing in music videos and as part of Club MTV (what a time to be alive)!
Camille let her hair down at a nightclub and dropped it like it was hot, dancing with fellow RHOBH cast members nearby, including Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump, and Kyle Richards. Camille took no prisoners in her super high heels and black miniskirt, using a handrail to support her moves as she whipped her head around — much to Adrienne Maloof’s surprise.
“Camille’s dancing was like, she was really shaking it and moving it,” said Lisa. “I think all that’s missing is a pole, really.”
Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer's Dance Studio Experience
Less seductive was when The Real Housewives of New York City’s Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer sought to learn “more hip moves” by taking dance lessons in Season 8, Episode 14. The RHONY ladies hoped for moves that would be appropriate, though Ramona was unsure if that would look more like hip-hop or new wave (we don’t have the answers, either).
Cynthia Bailey's Dance Audition for Kandi Burruss
The RHONY ladies struggled in the studio with rather simple dance instructions, but that wasn’t the case for The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey. In Season 11, Episode 6, Cynthia surprised Atlanta O.G. Kandi Burruss by auditioning for Kandi’s "Welcome to the Dungeon" party with a lap dance, which you can watch in full here. Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, was certainly entertained, based on his wide-eyed stare.
“I’ve been waiting to dance on Kandi for a long time,” Cynthia told producers.
Ramona Singer's "Turtle Time"
Circling back to the ladies of RHONY, few could forget “Turtle Time” with Ramona front and center. Ramona had “the best night” dancing with Bethenny Frankel and Alex McCord for a night on the town following Ramona’s vow renewals with her former husband, Mario Singer.
Ramona made “Turtle Time” something of a party tradition, one of the more conservative dances across the franchise, especially compared to RHOBH’s Lisa Rinna’s tabletop dance while aboard a yacht.

Lisa Rinna Dances on a Yacht
In Season 7, Episode 11, Rinna dropped jaws when replicating Erika Jayne’s dance moves from her sexually-charged “PAINKILLR” music video (watch here for the full video).
Rinna’s moves left Dorit Kemsley speechless and Erika impressed.
Karen Huger Has the RHOP Women Slither
But one of the funnier dances came from The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5, Episode 14, when grand dame Karen Huger poked fun at Wendy Osefo’s “slither” down the stairs. Karen re-did the “slither” later, getting the rest of the cast to join in on the fun and slither on out of the room.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Dance
Then there was the Latin-inspired dancing from husband and wife Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky on the RHOBH series also made the list as some of our favorite dancing moments. Both showed they could cut a rug — and Mauricio could dance atop a bar — on several occasions to the tunes of a mariachi band.
Yes, we’re surprised Kyle’s splits didn’t make the list, too.
Mauricio’s “Mexican Hat Dance” shall live on forever.
Adriana De Moura's Music Video from RHOM
Some of the most fun-to-watch Bravo dancing came during Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Miami. The ladies gathered for Adriana De Moura’s sexy Latin music video, “FYAH.” The video featured the Miami ‘Wives taking instructions aboard a boat, dressed in swimsuits, and accompanied by shirtless men dancing in speedos.
Bravoleb fans who love the ‘Wives fancy footwork will have much to savor with the new Bravo series Dancing Queens, taking viewers into the glamorous and competitive world of ballroom dancing. The new series has Colette Marotto, Donie Burch, Gaëlle Benchetrit, Leonie Biggs, Pooja Mehta, and Sabrina Strasser all set to take center stage.
Dancing Queens premieres Tuesday, May 9, on Bravo, with new episodes airing every Tuesday and available to stream the next day on Peacock.
