Joe Gorga Pays Tribute to His Father, Nonno Giacinto Gorga, After His Passing
RHONJ cast member Teresa Giudice confirmed the passing of her father on April 3.
Teresa Giudice confirmed on Friday (April 3) that her father, Giacinto Gorga, known to fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey as Nonno (meaning "grandfather" in Italian), passed away.
Her brother, Joe Gorga, also paid tribute to their father on the same day she shared the sad news.
"I can’t believe he is gone. The world lost an amazing man [and] human being today," Joe wrote on Instagram about his dad. "He was exactly what a true father and husband should be. I will miss you more than you know. But go find your wife because I know that’s all you want and all you’ve ever talked about for the past 3 years. You will be missed every single day. You had energy that lit up a room and everyone fell in love with you. You were truly one of a kind. I’m so happy you’re in no more pain. Rest In Peace Finally."
Giacinto's passing comes three years after his wife, Antonia Gorga, passed away at age 66 in March 2017.
In the days and weeks before he passed, Teresa, as well as sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, had taken to Instagram to ask for fans to prayers for Nonno as he was dealing with health issues.
