Southern Charm New Orleans' Jeff Charleston Marries Girlfriend Maddie

Jeff Charleston is married! The Southern Charm New Orleans cast member and his girlfriend, Maddie, tied the knot over the weekend.

Jeff announced the happy news in a post on Instagram on Sunday, November 1 that shows the couple with huge smiles on their faces as they hold up a wooden sign that reads, "Just Married."

The former NFL player also noted in the post that his wedding with Maddie turned out a little differently than they originally had planned due to Hurricane Zeta, which made landfall in southeastern Louisiana on October 28 before passing over New Orleans, according to NBC News. "Hurricane Zeta changed our plans but it couldn’t stop us!!" Jeff wrote, before quoting The Mandalorian, "This is the way."

Maddie noted in a post on Instagram on October 28 that there was no power in the French Quarter. She later shared how those power outages impacted their wedding day in a post on Instagram on November 1. "Our wedding day didn’t go exactly how we planned and unfortunately, due to power outages from the hurricane my dress was not able to be done on time," she wrote. "But I have an amazing husband, family, and friends who made our wedding day perfect."

Maddie shared other memories from the big day, including a table decorated with mini pumpkins and Polaroids from the wedding and a photo of her and Jeff showing off their new wedding bands with the French Quarter shining brightly again in the background. "Hurricane Zeta changed our original plans, but it couldn’t stop us," Maddie shared on Instagram.

Jeff first went public with his relationship with Maddie on New Year's Eve 2019 after sharing that he had spent Christmas in the ICU following a motor vehicle accident on December 23. "The best part of all of it is that not only am I alive but I was blessed to have [Maddie] in my life. A true angel that has been there every step of the way," Jeff said of his girlfriend in a post on Instagram at the time. "I have a long and difficult road to recovery in front of me but just want to make sure I do appreciate all the support and love all of you!!!!"

Jeff later revealed that he had spent 40 days in the hospital following his accident and was transitioning "back to 'normal' life," all with Maddie right by his side. "Each and every day presents a new challenge but couldn’t have done it without [Maddie] by my side for every moment," Jeff wrote in a post on Instagram on February 16.

This is the second marriage for Jeff, who previously married fellow Southern Charm New Orleans cast member Reagan Charleston in 2012. The couple separated in 2018, and we saw their divorce become finalized in Season 2 of Southern Charm New Orleans.

Reagan would go on to marry Reece Thomas, whom she first dated before Jeff more than a decade ago. Reagan and Reece tied the knot on December 9, 2018, which was documented in the Southern Charm New Orleans Season 2 finale. They welcomed their first child together, daughter Reece Ellis Thomas, on June 12, 2019.
