The Southern Charm alum shared the happy news with PEOPLE and confirmed that she is expecting a baby boy with her husband. "I was really surprised!" Eliza said of finding out that she is pregnant during a recent interview with PEOPLE. "I was feeling a little off so I decided to take a pregnancy test and it was positive. For the first few minutes I was in shock, but Struthers was immediately so excited and so supportive."

Eliza, who appeared in Season 6 of Southern Charm, said that she couldn't wait to welcome her little one, who is due this December. "I always knew I wanted to be a mom," she shared. "I'm just so grateful and excited. I can't wait to meet my baby. It's such a blessing."

The news of Eliza's pregnancy comes just a week after she revealed that she and Struthers, who got engaged in February, had wed in a private ceremony at her grandparents' estate in South Carolina. "The day was perfect," Eliza told PEOPLE of her wedding day, which she also called "the best day of my life." "I've never felt so calm and at peace."

Eliza said that she and Struthers had already been thinking about having a small and private ceremony prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. "It felt like fate," she told PEOPLE. "It was just me and Struthers. We didn't invite any family — we wanted the day to be completely about us and our love for each other. It was so incredible."

Eliza's grandparents watched the ceremony "through the window," but she was able to "have a few guests" at her wedding." "I've always known that I wanted my horses to be involved in my wedding, so after the ceremony we took photos with them," she said. "The horses were so cute and they knew it was a special day and they behaved perfectly."
