Where the Southern Charm Season 9 Cast Stands in Their Friendships and Relationships
See what Charm-ers such as Shep Rose and Olivia Flowers have been up to and meet the Season 9 newcomers.
The countdown is officially on for Southern Charm Season 9, and we have all the updates on what the cast — including Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Madison LeCroy, Venita Aspen, Olivia Flowers, Taylor Ann Green, and Leva Bonaparte — has been up to since fans last saw them.
Season 9 will also introduce three new faces: Jarrett Thomas, Rodrigo Reyes, and Rod Razavi. They will all be joined by Patricia Altschul and Whitney Sudler-Smith.

Craig Conover
The Sewing Down South owner’s professional life has been “thriving” ever since he found success with his brick-and-mortar store on King Street, but things are more complicated when it comes to his relationship with Summer House cast member Paige DeSorbo. Why? Because he wants her “permanently by his side in Charleston,” despite her desire to stay in New York City.
The press release adds, “The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down South.”
Austen Kroll
Following his split from Olivia, the “perennial beer connoisseur” kicks off Season 9 by looking inward and “asking himself why his romantic endeavors are always failing.” In doing so, Austen “turns to therapy and his parents to find out what kind of work he needs to do on himself, but once again finds himself in the center of unfolding drama.”
A press release adds, “After his hot-and-cold relationship with Olivia freezes over, Austen is left wondering why his romantic endeavors never work out. Now some of his closest friendships come into question when dating rumors start to surface.”
Shep Rose
Shep’s relationship with Taylor came to an explosive end last year, so prior to Southern Charm Season 9, he took some time to travel, “seeking solace in Australia and South Africa.” Upon returning, though, “he feels he may have been bitten by the wanderlust bug for good, now contemplating whether Charleston is right for him.”
The press release for the new season also adds, “Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under.”
Madison LeCroy
Madison and her new husband, Brett, are “reveling in wedded bliss,” even as he continues to split his time between South Carolina and California. Otherwise, Madison is “focused on friendships, cooking, gardening, and possibly growing her family — all while standing her ground in the group and never suffering fools gladly.”
The press release adds, “Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.”
Venita Aspen
An influencer with “perfect head-to-toe outfits and an eye for the latest trends,” Venita is thriving in her professional life. As for her personal life, she’s “focused on new friendships and her stable boyfriend, Manny, a musician with whom she harmonizes perfectly.”
The press release adds, “With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.”
Olivia Flowers
Now a mainstay in Charleston since her parents moved out of their palatial waterfront pad, Olivia is placing Austen “in the rearview” and is instead eager to explore “the dating scene” as well as focus on “cultivating new female friendships.”
A press release adds, “Olivia has put Austen in the rearview as she explores the dating scene and focuses on her female friendships, but a confusing betrayal leaves her questioning whom she can truly trust.”
Taylor Ann Green
No longer “reeling from the emotional end of her two-year relationship with Shep,” Taylor is enjoying “her singledom” with her best friend, Olivia, by her side — that is, until “the emergence of some racy rumors” that could ultimately threaten their friendship. Career-wise, Taylor is transitioning from her former role as an orthodontics assistant into a position in sales.
A press release for the new season also adds, “Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.”
Jarrett Thomas
Described as “a Virginia native and a true Southern gentleman,” JT has a real estate business that’s “incredibly successful, but he’s also a pro at partying.” His friendships with Shep, Craig, and Austen have cemented him in the group, but he’s “looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular Southern belle in mind.”
The press release adds, “JT is a successful Southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular Southern belle in mind.”
Rodrigo Reyes
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend, Tyler. He has been friends with the Charm-ers for many years and “helps to keep them grounded.”
The press release adds, “Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charm-ers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.”
Leva Bonaparte
As Southern Hospitality fans are already aware, Leva owns four of the hottest bars on King Street in the heart of Charleston, but Republic is her crown jewel. “When the mom of one isn’t juggling the drama of her staff, she acts as a surrogate big sister to the Charm-ers.”
The press release adds, “Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.”
Rod Razavi
Rod is a computer programmer who has resided in Charleston for more than 18 years. He considers himself to be a “true Southern gentleman and social butterfly,” making friends everywhere he goes. As for his love life, Rod has his sights on Olivia.
The press release adds, “Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential Southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.”
When does Southern Charm Season 9 premiere?
Southern Charm Season 9 premieres Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
