Shannon Storms Beador Reflects on Past "Difficult and Painful Times"

Shannon Storms Beador is reflecting on a difficult moment from her past.
Andy Cohen devoted his "This Day in Bravo History" segment during the October 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to looking back on Shannon's one-on-one interview from 2015 in which she and her husband discussed their marital issues at the time with the host.
Shannon opened up about the moment in a post on Instagram on October 6. "The girls and I got back from our getaway last night and I heard this clip in the background as I unpacked. I was beyond surprised," she shared. "Watching it back was both painful and humiliating."
She then went on to remark how much she has changed since that time. "Five years ago I was doing everything to keep my family together and memories from those days are difficult to relive," Shannon wrote in the post. "But today, I am proud of all the love, growth, and positive that has come into my life. I am standing on my own and taking care of my girls, something that I questioned I could do at the beginning."
Shannon ended the post by sharing what she has learned from this experience. "Difficult and painful times can only make us come out stronger in the end when we believe in ourselves. I know I am in a better place today and continue to pray that is the case for my girls," she wrote. "It’s always hard to relive distressing memories from the past, but also empowering to realize the amazing good that can come out of those dark times."
As Shannon mentioned in her Instagram post, she and 16-year-old twin daughters, Stella and Adeline, just returned from a "girls getaway" with their beloved pup, Archie, to visit friends. Shannon's eldest daughter, Sophie, recently started her freshman year at Baylor University in Texas.
Shannon celebrated her one-year anniversary with boyfriend John Janssen in June.
