Scheana Shay & Lala Kent Unveil Their Daughters' Darling First-Day-of-School Photos
The Vanderpump Rules daughters reached the big milestone in style.
It was a bittersweet week for Scheana Shay and Lala Kent.
On Thursday, July 11, the Vanderpump Rules moms endured an emotional rollercoaster as they sent their daughters off to their first day of preschool. Scheana documented the milestone in a couple of Instagram posts, in which she showed off her baby girl’s adorable school 'fit.
The 3-year-old donned a white cardigan over a pink tutu dress with a sequin bunny pattern. The playful ensemble was completed with a precious pink hair bow and matching low-top sneakers.
“Summer Moon, what’s today?” Scheana asked her little one during breakfast. “Your first day of school! Are you so excited?”
The Vanderpump Rules daughter — whom Scheana shares with her husband, Brock Davies — was obviously in high spirits, as she immediately smiled and hugged her momma.

See Summer Moon's precious "first day of preschool" board
Scheana returned to the ‘Gram several hours later and posted a photo of Summer Moon holding a “first day of preschool” board created by Erin DeSilva. The piece featured key information about Summer Moon, such as her age and height as well as her favorite book, color, animal, and song; the latter of which was listed as Scheana’s iconic track, “Good as Gold.”
The July 11 carousel, which contained a sweet family photo, has since received about 50,000 “likes” and hundreds of comments, including one from Lala: “What a good day. Love you guys!” she wrote under the post.
Lala Kent helps her daughter prepare for her first day of preschool
Earlier that day, Lala posted a video of her daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, trying on an adorable school outfit: a multi-colored floral dress with a square neckline and ruffled cap sleeves.
“Come here, bud. I just want to see if it fits,” the expectant mother told her firstborn as she placed the garment over her head. “Oh. My. Gosh. You’re going to be so cute! And then look, you’ll have little bloomers so you can still run around. You like that? You look so cute. All right, that’s what you’re going to wear. You’re ready to go. Perfect!”

Although Lala was clearly pleased with the ensemble, Ocean ultimately chose a red and purple floral set from Gap Kids. The little one — who is in the same class as Summer Moon — complemented the shorts and top with white bows on her pigtails, red and black sneakers, and a purple backpack. The Vanderpump Rules mom showed off the outfit in an Instagram video that was filmed shortly before Ocean’s first day of school.
“Can I see you? Let me see you, girl,” she told her daughter. “Where we going?”
“School!” Ocean enthusiastically responded.
“Is it the first day? Big smiles! Woohoo!” Lala said. “I’m so excited for you, my love. You’re going to have the best day.”
Fans got a closer look at the ensemble in another Instagram Story that showed Ocean posing in front of Lala’s new Los Angeles home.
“I’m okay. I’m okay. I’m okay. I’m not okay,” Lala captioned the Story. “Ocean’s first day of school.”
