Brooks Marks Opens Up About His First Breakup and What He's Looking For in a Future Partner
Meredith Marks also shared details about her son's "incredible" first boyfriend.
Brooks Marks is looking at the next chapter in his dating journey through some rose-colored glasses (or, more accurately, googles).
On Episode 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 (which aired on October 10), Brooks and his mom, Meredith Marks, chatted about his recent breakup, and what he's looking for in a potential future boyfriend. Find out what the two discussed by scrolling below!
Brooks Marks' Dating Life
As Meredith and Brooks were en route to a mother-son snowshoeing date on RHOSLC, the pair chatted about the latest in the Brooks Marks founder/designer's personal life. "So what's going on on the dating front?" Meredith asked her son while the two were in the car together.
"Nothing serious with anyone," Brooks responded. "I mean, I just got out of, like, a serious relationship. So, I feel like that's the last thing that I want."
Though Brooks and his ex are no longer together, Meredith referred to the situation as a "great first relationship. "He was fun and, you know, moving on," she added.
"Well, yeah I completely agree," Brooks said.
In an interview on the episode, Meredith explained that "watching Brooks navigate his first relationship was incredible."
"And now Brooks has become more secure in his own being," she continued. "It's wild to see him feeling comfortable and open."
Brooks Marks Reveals What He's Looking For in a Partner
Now that Brooks is single, his mom wanted to know if he has any qualities in mind for his next potential beau.
"I don't know," he admitted about what he wants. And when it comes to what he doesn't want, Brooks was equally as confused.
"I don't know what I don't want," he said.
Meredith tried to give her son an example of a good quality, saying that husband Seth Marks "brings [her] coffee in bed every morning."
"I don't need my boyfriend to do that," Brooks said, though he later added that Meredith is the "most supportive mom [he] know[s]."
