Ubah Hassan "Broke Down" While Filming RHONY Season 14 Reunion
Ubah told Andy Cohen that the reunion was "a therapy that I never thought I would ever have in my life."
The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 finale is almost here, but teasers of the upcoming reunion are keeping Bravo fans on their toes.
Ubah Hassan and the other first-time reunion guests — Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, and Sai De Silva — will be glamming it up for the highly anticipated event. Ubah got candid about filming the reunion when appearing as a guest on the Sunday October 8, 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Here’s what she said:
Ubah Teases RHONY Season 14 reunion
Ubah was asked to rate her reunion experience on a scale from one to 10, taking a deep breath before answering the WWHL host.
“You were there,” she replied. “I think a 20.”
Fellow WWHL guest and Las Culturistas podcast co-host Matt Rogers asked Ubah to explain her rating, wondering if the high number represented the all-around craziness of the reunion.
“I mean, I went really hard,” Ubah admitted, adding that she “broke down” during filming.
Andy agreed, saying “she did,” but that she left the experience “feeling much better,” which was fortunate for Ubah.
“It was a therapy that I never thought I would ever have in my life,” the New York Housewife continued. “But I felt so much better leaving.”
In a previous interview with The Daily Dish just before the reunion taping, Ubah was fired up about confronting some of her castmates.

“Bitches, especially Jenna and Erin, you got some sh-t to answer [for],” said Ubah.
On WWHL, Ubah claimed that if her castmates did go out as a group after filming the reunion, she skipped the event, noting she went for a two-hour foot massage, only getting home at about 1:30 a.m.
However, she revealed that the women ended things on a good note, good enough that they could have all gone out for drinks after things wrapped.
“It’s something new,” Ubah continued. “We really didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into.”
Andy and Rogers said they appreciated when Housewives could mend things at the pre-taped reunions, as was the case for the current Season 17 reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Other RHONY reunion predictions
Ubah's answers aren't the first time fans have heard dribs and drabs ahead of the reunion, of course. In a previous WWHL episode, Jessel said she was “obviously” the reunion’s hot topic, owing to the ongoing Season 14 drama revolving around her lack of intimacy with her husband Pavit Randhawa and Jessel’s stories about her upbringing.
“It should just be called The Jessel Show,” the Housewife joked.
Erin and Sai teased to The Daily Dish that food would also be a focal point for the reunion, which comes as little surprise given all the food-oriented drama this season, including the mystery restaurant and diss and Erin’s shakshuka shuffle, to name just a couple.
Jenna also predicted the reunion could revolve around the drama between Erin and Ubah while away on their girls’ trip to Anguilla.
Ubah praises Andy Cohen for reunion
Thankfully, the RHONY women had Andy for support. Ubah said the WWHL and reunion host was “really kind” and “literally” held their hands through their first-time experience.
“It was something new to all of us,” Ubah continued.
She added that seeing the season played back, the women could see from different perspectives and that they were ready to go at one another’s throats when arriving at the reunion.
“Ubah was hot when she came in,” even Andy admitted.
Ubah the suggested Andy lend his kindness to “everyone in New York.”
The current RHONY season features an all-new cast, which Andy and Rogers said has been a real crowd-pleaser so far.
“I really love how everyone on the New York Housewives, you all have been so open and so transparent with your lives, and everyone sharing stuff that’s gone on with their family,” said Rogers. “And I just feel like this franchise is off to an incredible start.”
