Brynn Whitfield Opens Up About Difficult Past in New RHONY Sneak Peek
Jenna Lyons also does meal prep dripping in diamonds in a new sneak peek of RHONY Season 14, Episode 4.
The Real Housewives of New York City ladies regroup in the cold light of day while away for their three-day trip in the Hamptons, on the latest episode of RHONY. On the menu? Shakshuka with a side of Ubah Hassan’s hot sauce, Jenna Lyons' bling, and Brynn Whitfield sharing a little about her “rough history.”
RHONY Season 14, Episode 4 Sneak Peek
In Bravo’s First Look for RHONY Season 14, Episode 4, which you can watch above, the ladies enter day three at Erin Lichy’s Hamptons home in Sag Harbor, New York. With the ever-hungry Sai de Silva and Brynn waiting in the kitchen, Jenna offered to help Erin make her much-talked-about Shakshuka dishes — one with cheese, one without (yes, the food game is strong this season).
Jenna showed up with a stylish sweatshirt and trucker’s cap, offering to help wash and prepare the tomatoes for Erin’s meal. Her stunning and flashy bracelets didn’t go unnoticed by her castmates.

“I love that there’s half a million dollars’ worth of diamond jewelry at the kitchen counter,” Brynn commented.
Brynn told RHONY producers it was “an interesting look for the Hamptons,” while Sai echoed Brynn’s statements by calling it “insane.”
“Have you heard of the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s?” Jenna asked rhetorically.
Jenna offered to let Sai try on one of her pieces, but Sai warned, “If I try it on, I’m not gonna take it off.”
The finished breakfast looked incredible, but as the ladies ate breakfast, the discussion moved to their plans for Thanksgiving. Jessel said her family would be visiting from Los Angeles, while Erin said she typically hosted Thanksgiving at her Hamptons home. But Brynn didn’t seem to share the same family-orientated plans as the other ‘Wives, saying, “I would love that.”
“I never had, like, a real family,” Brynn told the others. She explained she grew up with her brother and sister in Indiana and that her parents “weren’t really in the picture.”
As a result, Brynn and her siblings were legally adopted by her maternal grandmother.
“I’ve always known that Brynn had a really rough history, but I didn’t realize it was this bad,” said Erin. “And it’s heartbreaking, ’cause you can tell that she’s upset about it.”
“I always wanted a mom and a dad; that’s why I’m friends with all my exes and their families,” Brynn continued.
She added that, since she’s not close with most of her relatives, she one day hopes to have a family of her own with “traditions and a place to go.”
Brynn admitted there were times she called her exes to get that fulfillment.
“It’s Band-Aids,” she confessed. “It’s painful. It’s hard.”
