Brynn Whitfield Explains Why She's "Worried" About Her New Home (EXCLUSIVE)
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member revealed what she doesn't want fans to see in her new apartment.
Brynn Whitfield is loving her new apartment, but The Real Housewives of New York City cast member is concerned about one notable feature of her home, which is located in Manhattan's Gramercy Park neighborhood.
During a recent visit to Bravo HQ, Brynn, who was joined by her castmates Jenna Lyons and Jessel Taank, talked about her concern over the white refrigerator in her new place.
"I was gonna change the refrigerator because I have a white refrigerator in my apartment and I'm really worried that the fans are gonna pick up on that," she shared in the video you can watch above, referring to the fact that white fridges have been a longtime buzzed-about topic in the Bravoverse. "I was gonna buy a beige cute retro one but then I was like, 'I'll stop,' because I don't need to replace the appliances."
"I think I ran out of things to lose money on [in] my rental," Brynn said with a laugh in the video. "I think I'm done for a while. Whenever I move into a place I always want to make it feel like a home and not like a rental [but] after a while you're like, 'Ah, that's enough, I don't need to change the kitchen faucet.'"
Where does Brynn Whitfield live?
Brynn lives in the Gramercy Park neighborhood in New York City, which is situated just below midtown. The idyllic, tree-lined neighborhood features a famous private park and feels almost like an oasis in the middle of a bustling city.
More Details on Brynn Whitfield's Gramercy Park Apartment
In July, Brynn gave Architectural Digest a full tour of her new space after moving out of her old place in Greenwich Village.
“I don’t have a key to the park, but I’m going to become a Gramercy girl and do what I always do, which is decorate, decorate, decorate, pour money into a rental, and not care if I get my security deposit back,” Brynn joked, pointing out the stunning paint colors she used in different rooms as well as "funky contemporary pieces" she peppered throughout the space to achieve "1970s Parisian vibes."
One room we're absolutely obsessed with? The consultant's "glam room" she calls the "ultimate luxury," complete with Mindthegap's Gardens of Jaipur wallpaper and prints by Kamala Nahas via Minted (Brynn shared a peek of the space in the Season 15 premiere of RHONY.)
“I used to roll my eyes like, ‘Oh, you have a glam room?’ But here’s the thing: I do sometimes have hair and makeup [teams] huddling in my bathroom and tripping over stuff," Brynn shared. "A dedicated space is the ultimate luxury. Even if I look like a hot mess, I’ll go in that room and I’m like, ‘I’m going to be okay.’”
