This Is What Is “Confusing” About Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s Feud, According to Danielle Cabral
In addition to discussing the drama between Teresa and Melissa and Joe Gorga, the RHONJ newcomer opened up about her strained relationship with her own brother.
The tension between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga — along with her husband and Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga — has been brewing for years, but even if you’ve been following along since the beginning, there’s no guarantee you’ve heard the full story. Just ask Danielle Cabral.
Weighing in on the feud during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, March 14, The Real Housewives of New Jersey newcomer said, “You know, you remember everything that went down, but walking into it, it’s very real.”
“I think the most confusing thing is they’re both saying the same thing, they just never get on the same page,” Danielle added. “So walking into it, it was like, ‘Wow, this is real.’”
Real and all too familiar, because like Teresa and Joe, Danielle is currently not on speaking terms with her brother. She has opened up about their strained relationship on RHONJ, explaining that she blocked him on social media when he started making fun of her posts, and things apparently spiraled from there. Some of her castmates questioned whether there was more to the story, but on WWHL, Danielle insisted there’s no “deeper reason” why she and her brother aren’t speaking.
“It’s the truth,” she said, adding that as of today, the relationship is “still not good.”
Andy said he hoped Danielle’s brother would watch the show and potentially reach out, and she expressed a similar sentiment. “I hope more of the story is told, because I don’t come from a place of hate; it’s just love,” Danielle said. “I hope that he sees that.”
When it comes to her hopes for Teresa and Joe, Andy asked if she thought the siblings should try to save their relationship or, as Dolores Catania suggested, “part ways” for good.
“That’s a tough question to ask me, because I’ll never give up on mine,” Danielle said, “but I think they need to bring it down to just the two of them and no outside noise.”
“Everybody just [needs to] be nice in real life right now,” she added.
That said, Melissa and Joe aren’t the only ones beefing with Teresa. RHONJ fans watched Teresa tell Danielle to beware of Margaret Josephs, and Danielle eventually informed Margaret of the warning. As a result, a WWHL viewer asked Danielle if she was “trying to stir the pot with Teresa.”
Her response? “No. I don’t ever stir the pot, I just eat the food, if that makes any sense. I was just being honest. I was saying, ‘This is what I’m hearing, and I don’t want to start a friendship with you if you’re like this.’”
