Vicki Gunvalson Celebrates 61st Birthday with Boyfriend Michael and Son Michael
Go inside The Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s birthday getaway in Puerto Vallarta.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson rang in 61 with her loved ones by her side in one of her “favorite places,” Puerto Vallarta.
She took to Instagram on Monday, March 27, to not only mark the occasion but also express her gratitude for her life and the people in it, including her boyfriend, Michael. The two could be seen enjoying their Mexican getaway in a slideshow of several photos, which Vicki captioned in part, “Taking a few days off to recharge my battery to celebrate my birthday.”
Vicki added that her son, Michael; her sister Lisa; and Lisa’s husband, Terry, had also traveled to Puerto Vallarta with them. “Life goes by so fast,” her caption continued, “so stop and enjoy it along the way. As I get older, I value my family, friends, and people who are close to me now more than ever.”
“It’s hard to believe I’m 61 today,” Vicki’s message concluded. “Take time for YOU to do the things that make you happy and tell those close to you how much you love them.”
Vicki’s friends followed suit in the comments and on their Instagram Stories in honor of her birthday.
“Wishing you an amazing year ahead, my Aries Amiga!!!” read Shannon Storms Beador’s Story, which also featured a selfie of the two longtime friends.
Taylor Armstrong, meanwhile, posted four photos with Vicki. “Have a fabulous day honey!” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and soon-to-be RHOC friend wrote.
In addition to sharing the sweet tributes, Vicki documented the rest of her birthday on her Instagram Stories. And yes, lemon drop shots were had.
The celebration wasn’t the first that Vicki enjoyed this year, though. In January, she and Michael commemorated their first anniversary, and on Valentine’s Day, she revealed just how deeply she had fallen. “It’s a great Valentine’s Day celebrating with one of the most incredible humans I have ever met,” Vicki captioned a selfie with her beau. “He’s everything I prayed for.”
Michael also spent the holidays with Vicki’s family, and it sounds as though he was able to earn Briana Culberson’s approval. “My daughter and him got along great,” Vicki told Extra last year. “The grandkids called him the big guy because he’s big.”
She added that she “was really proud of him” after he met her loved ones. “He was really incredible.”
The relationship, which was made Instagram official last June, is her first since her split from Steve Lodge in September 2021.
