Emily Simpson Reveals How She and Husband Shane Simpson “Make It Work”

Teamwork makes the dream work for Emily Simpson and Shane Simpson.
The Real Housewives of Orange County spouses are totally in sync these days when it comes to parental responsibilities for their three kids: daughter Annabelle and twin sons Keller and Luke. (Shane also has two daughters from a previous marriage.)
On August 21, Emily shared an update on what her kids are up to now that their summer breaks are over, and she opened up about her marriage to Shane.
Emily Simpson’s Parenting Update
During a Q&A on her Instagram Stories, Emily revealed that her kids are very busy these days.
“Luke takes piano and karate. Keller takes karate. Annabelle is in tennis, tumbling and she’s on a competition cheer team,” Emily said about her children’s after-school activities. “I’m going to start the boys back at swim lessons soon at Lifetime. (We took a break over the summer).”
The RHOC cast member then shared how she manages to “do it all” as a mom.
“It’s not easy,” she continued. “But Shane helps with picking up Annabelle from cheer on his way home so we just make it work!”
Before Emily got back into the kids’ many activities, she took them on a cruise to Catalina Island and Mexico.
“I have to admit, parenting three kids on a vacation alone isn’t easy but the memories we made and fun we had was well worth it! ([To be honest] there were tears too and I called Shane a few times complaining),” Emily shared on Instagram about the vacation.
On the way back to California, Emily noted that she took the trip, in part, because she wanted to have “as many magical moments” as possible with her kids.
Emily Simpson and Shane Simpson’s Marriage Today
Although their marriage hit a low point during Emily’s first few seasons as a ’Wife on RHOC, Shane and Emily are in a great spot in their relationship today.
“I think Shane has changed over the seasons,” Emily said during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in July. “Now that we’ve gotten to the point where he realizes that we navigate [the show] well, and our kids are happy and healthy, I feel like he’s just lightened up and he’s just himself now.”
