Crystal Kung Minkoff Reveals Her Take on Sutton Stracke and Lisa Rinna’s Elton John Gala Drama
The RHOBH cast member shared her opinion on the buzzy Season 12 drama.
One of the biggest dramas going into Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills focused on Lisa Rinna, Sutton Stracke, and their differing opinions regarding an invite to an Elton John gala “a few years ago,” as Sutton noted during a previous appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen before the season of RHOBH kicked off. Well, Lisa had some feelings about all that, which she later expressed in the Season 12 premiere, as you can see in the clip above.
Then in the May 18 episode of RHOBH, Sutton and Lisa faced off once again about their tension concerning the issue, with one of the ladies even bringing receipts (clip below). In the end, Lisa and Sutton never really came to an agreement on the drama over the invite, but they did resolve to move forward with a hug.
Still, the topic remained on the mind of a fan, and when Crystal Kung Minkoff stopped by the WWHL Clubhouse this week, she was asked about her opinion on the buzzy matter. “I’ve been to that event a lot and I try to explain that I think it was actually a misunderstanding,” she shared during her June 8 appearance on WWHL.
Since the start of Season 12, RHOBH fans have heard from Elton John himself (!!), who sent love to RHOBH newbie Diana Jenkins, who also has ties to the charity event. “As it turns out, I am very involved with this charity. I have been made sponsor of this charity event for a very, very long time. Elton — and his husband, David — is a very good friend of mine,” Diana explained in the May 18 episode of RHOBH. “That charity is something that is very, very close to my heart. It’s very personal.”
Preview what dramas and good times are in store for the RHOBH cast on their girls’ trip to Mexico, which will continue in the upcoming June 15 episode.
