Diana Jenkins
Diana Jenkins was born and raised in Communist Yugoslavia. When the war broke out, she was forced to flee her home in Sarajevo, eventually arriving in London as a refugee. Without any friends or family, and without speaking any English, Diana managed to find work, and eventually to educate herself at the City University of London, graduating with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. Diana married the legendary Barclays financier Roger Jenkins, and they had two children together before divorcing in 2012. Diana recently had her third child with fiancé Asher Monroe, a singer/songwriter and actor. A world-renowned philanthropist, humanitarian and human rights activist, Diana established in 2008 the Sanela Diana Jenkins Human Rights Project at the University of California, Los Angeles. She also founded The Irnis Catic Foundation in honor of her brother, who was killed during the aggression on Bosnia & Herzegovina, which provides funding to medical facilities at the University of Sarajevo. A strong supporter of the fight against AIDS, Diana was honored with the Enduring Vision award by the Elton John AIDS Foundation for her activism. Diana is also Chair and CEO of Neuro Brands, a privately-owned lifestyle drink company. Diana has homes and properties all over the world, but currently spends the majority of her time in Los Angeles.
