Sutton Stracke Is Regretting a Recent Addition to Her Backyard: "Why Did I Buy This Thing?"

Sutton Stracke has a luxe new feature in her backyard, but she's not too happy about it. 

On October 10, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member revealed via Instagram she bought a sauna and cold plunge and tried out the new purchases. The sauna was a little easier to endure, but the cold plunge? Not so much. 

"I've been in my sauna, I'm dying of sweat. Now, I am going to take the plunge and get in my cold plunge," Sutton began in the Instagram video, sharing that she was "very afraid." 

Slipping into the tub in a white one-piece bathing suit, Sutton was anything but calm. "How do people — and why — do they do this?" she exclaimed as she struggled to sink into the ice-cold bath. "I don't believe that this is good for you. I just don't!" 

After enduring several seconds of the plunge as someone off-camera instructed her to breathe, Sutton tried her best. "I'm not putting my head in, sorry everyone!" she shivered, hilariously adding, "Why did I buy this thing!?" 

In her caption, Sutton joked, "Sometimes you just gotta chill." 

In the comments section, Sutton's BFF Garcelle Beauvais simply wrote, "Why[?]" 

Sutton isn't the only Bravolebrity getting in on the cold-water immersion trend. 

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, for example, added a cold plunge to the backyard area of their new home in the Valley. 

Additionally, Southern Charm cast member Madison LeCroy added a sauna and cold plunge to the gym in her Charleston home. In a TikTok video touring her home gym, Madison noted she keeps her cold plunge around "39 degrees." Brr! 

Sutton Stracke's Home Upgrade from Kathy Hilton 

Speaking of home additions, over the summer, Sutton shared another feature added to her home via Kathy Hilton. 

"Babette the Baby Beautiful Princess Kitty loves our new [Ruggable] present from [Kathy] and [Nicky Hilton]," Sutton captioned a June 8 Instagram post that showed her fluffy white cat sitting pretty on top of a rose gold-and- cream trellis rug from the company. The rug is from a collaboration between Ruggable and Kathy and her daughter, Nicky Hilton. 

"What a sweet present and perfect for my house full of kitties and pups!" Sutton exclaimed of the washable rugs. "Thank y’all so so much!" 

Sutton Stracke's Home Renovation 

Before Sutton got settled in her gorgeous house, she gave it a massive renovation. 

"We moved in last week," Sutton told Andy Cohen on Part 1 of the RHOBH Season 11 reunion (which aired in October 2021) as the episode showed her new closet, kitchen, and living room. "It feels amazing. Every morning I wake up and I'm like, 'This is amazing. It's so great. I'm so happy.'"
