ICYMI, Mauricio Umansky Just Reacted to Kyle Richards' Latest Career Milestone
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has added a new title to her resume, and Mauricio Umansky has feelings about it.
Mauricio Umansky is showing his support for his wife, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, amid their ongoing separation after 26 years of marriage.
Kyle took to her Instagram account this week, where she revealed that she is on the cover of Us Weekly and has officially been named the publication's "Reality Star of the Year." Kyle posted two versions of the cover — one in which she's wearing a green sparkly shirt, as the words "I'm Starting Over" are written over her chest. In the other, Kyle can be seen wearing a fabulous outfit while doing the dishes with the words "Kyle Comes Clean" written on top of her.
Mauricio showed up for his estranged wife by "liking" the post this week. Although he did not leave a comment, he did still go out of his way to be there for Kyle. Mauricio was not the only person in Kyle's life to show their support for this accomplishment.
"Gorgeousness and Brave and capable," Kyle's RHOBH cast member Sutton Stracke wrote in the comments.
"Sharing your story on your own terms...we love to see it!" RHOBH Season 14 newcomer Bozoma Saint John added.
Kyle Richards says she doesn't "know what the future holds" for her and Mauricio Umansky
In the interview with the publication, the mom of four was super honest about her life with Mauricio. But, she also noted that she can't predict what comes next for them and their family.
"I don't know what the future holds with Mauricio and me," she explained. "We love each other. So that part is easy. What's not easy is figuring out what's next. We're not divorced; he doesn't live here, but we're still figuring things out. On the show, people felt they were owed answers and thought I was withholding stuff — but I'm figuring it out myself."
Kyle admitted in the same interview that it's been hard since Mauricio moved out of the family home in Encino in the spring. But, she does have her many dogs to keep her company.
"It's like having six husbands," she said. "It's a lot of work! But they make me laugh and make me feel safe. They sleep in my room. One sprawls across [me], and I end up sleeping in a split because I want to accommodate her."
What's next for Kyle Richards amid Mauricio split?
Although she cannot predict the future, she does have some idea of what she wants to do next. She told the magazine that she's excited to have her freedom. "I can go do whatever I want now, which is great and exciting — and sometimes a little strange. I want to focus on my daughters and my work projects," she explained. "The end goal is to be happy and at peace."
Oh, and eventually she wants to have even more dogs than she already does now somewhere down the line. "I probably wouldn't be living in LA full-time; I'd probably be in the mountains where there's more nature — and not so much chaos," she explained.
