Erika Opens Up About Getting Support from RHOBH Cast When It “Gets a Little Rough”
The RHOBH cast member offered new insight into her life today.
Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has followed the latest chapter in Erika Jayne’s journey as she navigates several situations, including the ending of her marriage.
In a preview clip of the upcoming July 20 episode of RHOBH (above), Erika shares an update on her life and the status of her divorce in a call with Lisa Rinna. It’s just one of the many times this season when the cast has shown support for another Housewife during an emotional moment, including the passing of Lisa’s mom, Lois, as well as the aftermath of the home invasion at Dorit Kemsley’s house.
In an interview with The Daily Dish at the beginning of Season 12, Erika opened up about the cast’s dynamic amid their personal ups and downs.
“Well, I think that some support more than others. OK, let’s be honest. And support is built, like friendship, over time. So the more time you spend with people, the longer you have known them, you’re a little bit more supportive. So I don’t know that everybody has everyone’s back all the time. I think that’s unrealistic. But I do know that there are real friendships that I have within this group,” she said. “And sometimes, yeah, it gets a little rough.”
She then shared what it’s like to share her ups and downs with the world. “This is a unique experience for all of us to be on this show, and I think sometimes people forget that we’re human. And it’s hard to live your life like this at points. Certainly my last year,” she shared. “So just try to support each other. It’s really simple, but it’s kind of hard.”
