How the Cast Reacted to Meeting Shereé’ Whitfield's Boyfriend, Martell Holt
Shereé and Martell made their debut as a couple on the RHOA Season 15 premiere.
Sanya Richards-Ross threw her husband, Aaron Ross, an extravagant Harlem Nights-themed birthday party on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 premiere, but at certain points throughout the evening, all eyes were on another couple: Shereé Whitfield and Martell Holt.
The May 7 episode marked Martell's RHOA debut while Sanya's party, for many of the ladies, also marked the first time they were meeting Shereé's new man. She declared that they were "officially dating" in a confessional interview, and even issued a disclaimer regarding his role on the reality series, Love & Marriage: Huntsville. "Despite what you see on TV," Shereé said, "he's never shown me anything but respect."
Her co-stars weren't convinced, though — especially Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss, both of whom speculated that Martell was seeing other women. As the latter joked (while making a reference to Shereé's ex, Tyrone Gilliams), "Last year, Shereé was with mister community service. This year, she's with community property."
On a more serious note, Kandi later told Kenya and Monyetta Shaw-Carter, "[Martell]'s talking to somebody else here in Atlanta. I know of another person in Atlanta that he's actually been kicking it with."
Kenya, it turned out, had a revelation of her own: Martell had apparently DM'd her on Instagram at one point in time. There's no telling what his message said, though, because it had been unsent.
The ladies initially hesitated to relay all of this to Shereé, but Kenya and Monyetta eventually pulled her aside at Sanya's party, and the latter told her, "Me and Kandi heard that [Martell] was also dating someone in Atlanta."
Shereé's response? "Is she here? He's been here for the last three days. Where she at?"
Continuing in a confessional, Shereé added, "Now, Monyetta wanna have a voice. Didn't even say five words when we were all together last time. Girl, honey, this is a Ferrari. If he's cheating with another girl, that's like a Toyota. Now if he wants to downgrade it, that's on him."
She remained lighthearted back in the conversation with Monyetta and thanked her for relaying the information, but things took a turn once Kenya brought up the DM, because Shereé summoned Martell himself over to join the chat. However, before he and Kenya could discuss the DM, viewers were hit with a "to be continued" message.
