Does Phaedra Parks Have Any Regrets About The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion?
The #RHOA attorney opens up about the shocking conclusion to the Season 9 sit-down.
This season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta went out with a bang when it was revealed that Phaedra Parks was the one who spread the rumors that Kandi Burruss wanted to drug and take advantage of Porsha Williams. By the end of the Season 9 sit-down, it seemed as though Phaedra's relationship with Kandi was officially past the point of no return, and even her friendship with Porsha seemed to be over. As for the rest of the Georgia Peaches and host Andy Cohen, well, they were just plain shocked by the whole thing.
But while reflecting on the emotional and explosive final moments of the reunion prior to the episode airing, Phaedra told PEOPLE that she has no regrets and that she believes "everything happens for a reason." “What’s meant to happen will happen,” Phaedra explained. “They say you’re set up to step up for the next thing, right? I know that I’m fortunate. I know that good things happen to me because I have my feet on frugal ground. I can’t regret anything, but I know it was destined to happen.”
The shocking reunion revelation drew a lot of emotional reactions from the Georgia Peaches. Kandi tweeted during the episode that it was just as difficult to watch the moment back as it was to relive it.
Porsha seemed ready to move on from the drama in this post on Instagram.
Kenya Moore expressed on Instagram that she was "so happy @kandi was rightfully vindicated," and she was thankful that "the truth was revealed."
Cynthia Bailey wrote that the reunion was "just too dark, toxic, and negative spiritually for me" in her latest Bravotv.com blog.
Even some RHOA alums weighed in on the reunion drama. Kim Zolciak-Biermann called Phaedra's behavior at the reunion "sneaky" during the May 7 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. NeNe Leakes tweeted during the episode, "You can never WIN when you play DIRTY! Girl bye."
Reunion host Andy also said that he "was really stunned" by that reunion bombshell during a special Reddit AMA during Sunday's WWHL After Show.
