Paige DeSorbo Reveals What "Really Frightened" Her When She Started Dating Craig Conover
The Summer House cast member had jokes about her Southern Charm boyfriend's old airport style.
Craig Conover’s airport style has drastically improved over the past several months. And it’s all thanks to his longtime girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.
The Summer House cast member addressed the topic on August 29, after Craig submitted a question during her Amazon Live stream.
“Did you fly in those jeans?” the Southern Charm-er asked in the chat, referring to his girlfriend's on-camera' fit. The question prompted Paige to reflect on Craig’s style evolution — specifically in the area of travel wear.
“When I first started dating Craig, I immediately thought that he was a serial killer because we would get on planes and he would be jeans. And that really frightened me,” she joked. “Because first of all, who fricking does that? And second of all, we’re on long flights; we gotta be comfy.”
Paige says she encouraged Craig to make *this* fashion change
Paige, who has worked in various sectors of the fashion industry, said jeans were simply too uncomfortable for a long flight and encouraged Craig to consider a cozy-boy option for his travel days.
“As of three months ago, I was like, ‘What if you just tried flying not in jeans and in normal pants, like a sweatpant?’” she recalled. “And he’s never gone back. And now he exclusively flies in a jogger or a sweatpant… Just changing the world one serial killer at a time.”
Paige has been giving Craig style "tips" since they started dating
This isn’t the first time Craig has credited Paige for upping his fashion game. In 2022, the Southern Charm cast member told fans that Paige was “helping” him with his style; however, Paige pushed back on the wording, insisting she was just offering a bit of guidance.
“I wouldn’t want to say the word ‘helping’ you because I almost feel like that’s negative,” she explained in a Valentine’s Day Instagram Live broadcast. “I’ve just been giving tips, throwing things in casually.”
Paige shares new details on her and Craig's living situation
Elsewhere in the August 29 livestream, Paige provided a quick update on her and Craig’s part-time living situation. She her Charleston-based beau had a closet in her new NYC apartment, but she was considering taking it away.
“Craig has a closet, he’s got drawers,” she said. “The question you should be asking is, ‘Does Craig respect his closet and drawers?’ And, no, he doesn’t. He doesn’t care about it, he doesn’t hang up his clothes, he’s always looking for something and it’s always right there [in front of his face].”
She continued: “I might take away his closet and drawers because he doesn’t properly love them the way that he should. But, yes. He’s even got a shoe rack, people. I really went all out for him.”
