Meredith Marks Sheds New Light on "Odd" Feud with Mary Cosby: "It Felt Like..."
RHOSLC's Meredith Marks admitted that she finds her Season 5 drama with Mary Cosby to be "unsettling."
There was no shortage of jaw-dropping moments in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 trailer, including the demise of the long-standing friendship between Meredith Marks and returning 'Wife Mary Cosby.
The ladies formed a strong connection early on in the series, and Meredith helped facilitate Mary's return to the group back in Season 4. However, there's been a clear shift in their relationship, and Meredith just explained why she found it to be "odd."
"I wish I could tell you what the conflict is over," Meredith admitted during a recent chat with Extra. "But I can't. I don't understand it."
Fans will have to tune into Season 5 to find out why exactly the ladies are at odds, but Meredith herself is still confused by what exactly led to their friendship break.
"The only thing I saw is she brought up things that were from ages ago that we already talked about, so it felt very, sort of, contrived to me," Meredith continued. "It was odd."
The mom of three added that she was hurt by her feud with Mary because the two did have a genuine friendship for years.
"I don't really know what the problem is there, which is a bit unsettling to me, because, usually when there's a problem, I like to understand what it is," Meredith told the outlet. "And usually when someone starts coming at me, there should be a reason for it, especially when I've been there for them for years when nobody else would be."
She went on to wonder if any of her fellow cast members — which include Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Angie Katsanevas, and Bronwyn Newport — were "in [Mary]'s ear."
"It felt like she was looking for trouble with me, and I felt like she wanted to pick a fight with me..." Meredith admitted. "Perhaps others are in her ear. She has all these new friends and that's great. I'm happy for her, and she should. I didn't ever want to see Mary on an island and only speaking to me. She should have friends; we all should. So, I don't know if that's part of it."

As far as the RHOSLC Season 5 trailer goes, Meredith and Mary are not on good terms.
"You're not always the victim," Mary says to Meredith at an event featured in the teaser, which you can check out at the top of this post.
"No, I am not," Meredith replies.
"Have a good day," Mary says as she starts to walk away from her former pal.
"Yeah, you used me for three years, I got the memo," Meredith responds.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Mary calls Meredith "a sneaky little snarky little something," and Meredith asks Mary to "leave [her] alone."
How does Mary respond? She asks Meredith to leave her house.
