Kyle Richards Details Her Recent Unexpected Friday Night Spent "Alone": "I Never..."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member opened up about how she's been spending her time in recent weeks.
Kyle Richards admitted that she recently needed a "little break" from Instagram. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and mom to four daughters (and lots of dogs) opened up about why she hadn't been spending as much time on Instagram in recent weeks and it seems like maybe it's been changing what she does with her personal time.
"Sometimes I need a little break from that," Kyle took to Amazon Live this week, during which she shared why she's been so quiet on social media. But this time was well spent. "I went to Lake Tahoe, had a little break after we wrapped and we came back," she continued. But, this "break" has Kyle acting a little out of the ordinary because Kyle has had a lot more time on her hands which means she has been able to discover new pastimes.
"You know how I never watch TV?" Kyle shared with her livestream co-host and friend, celebrity skincare expert Jamie Sherrill. "I just started...I just wasn't a TV person...now I am more," she explained, noting that she marathon-watched three episodes of one show in a row. "And I did stay home alone Friday and ate popcorn and watched that in bed...and then there was crumbs in the bed and then I really felt like a loser," she said with a laugh.
She added, "I was like, 'Ew! I've got crumbs in the bed, who am I?' Yeah, that just makes you feel not good, but it felt really good in the moment."

She also noted during the live stream that she's been focusing on her youngest daughter Portia Umansky, who is her last remaining child in high school. "Portia started school, so we had stuff to do with that, and I just had some things I needed to do here in LA," she explained. "And even though I have some downtime right now...I have some other non-RHOBH stuff I have to work on."

Although Kyle was pretty quiet on Instagram in August, she did take to the social media platform later on where she posted a series of photos taken at the stunning water-front home in Lake Tahoe where she went on vacation.
In the photos, Kyle can be seen paddling around in a kayak, laying on the dock, relaxing with friends, and soaking up every last remaining inch of sun.
"Had such a peaceful vacation in beautiful Lake Tahoe," Kyle wrote in the caption of the post. "Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite spots on earth."
