When viewers first met Mary Cosby on the series premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City back in 2020, she shared insight into her life as a wife and mom. The snowflake holder, who is back as a full-time 'wife on Season 5, is married to Robert Cosby Sr., and the two share a son named Robert Jr. together.
"I met my husband through my grandma..." Mary said in a video for BravoTV.com back when Season 1 was airing in 2020. "You're dealt with the cards that you're given and it's up to you to make it happy. I love my life, I have a blessed life, and I love Robert Sr."
Who is Mary Cosby's husband?
Before he tied the knot with Mary, Robert Sr. was actually previously married to her grandmother, Rosemary. Robert's prior connection to Mary's family was a topic on Season 1 of RHOSLC, and the two spoke at length about their marriage on the show. She elaborated on her connection with Robert Sr. on the RHOSLC series premiere back in 2020.
"We were kind of, I would say, arranged," Mary explained in an interview on the episode. "It was kind of in my grandma's will for us to marry."
"She said, 'If anything ever happens to me, Bobby, I want you to marry one of my girls because they'll look out for you,'" Robert Sr. recounted. "We're blessed to this day because of it," Mary said.
On Season 1, Episode 3, Mary elaborated on her grandmother's request and added that she was "so glad [she] did it."

Mary's spouse is 20 years her senior. The RHOSLC cast member was born in October of 1972, meaning that Robert Sr. is in his 70s.
Do Mary Cosby and Robert Cosby Sr. have any children?
The spouses share son Robert Jr. together. During RHOSLC Season 4, Robert revealed that he had gotten married. He confirmed his marital status on the show, when he told his mom that he had gone to "the courthouse" with his girlfriend.
Robert Jr. was actually married for a year before Mary found out about it, because his wife was still living at home with her parents. That arrangement has since changed, as Mary later told BravoTV.com that Robert's wife "lives at our house now."

The snowflake holder resides with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law in a colorful Utah home. Mary invited castmate Heather Gay to visit the abode back in Season 4.
"Mary's decor is exactly like Mary's personality, you never quite know what you're going to get," Heather said on the show. "Green carpet, Chanel pillows, Dr. Seuss chairs from Whoville."
In addition to the aforementioned features, Mary's home has a kitchen with Tiffany blue cabinets and a bedroom that's been converted into her closet.
